Dollhouse miniature painting

We are pleased to offer for your consideration a charming miniature painting (we can see the brush strokes with a jeweler's loupe).  This is a miniature reproduction of an actual oil painting that was done circa 1830 by an unknown artist under the same title: Little girl with pantalettes".   If you look at the second photo you will see the back of the painting that is labeled with that title as well as "Circa 1830" in the lower left corner and a signature in the upper left corner.  Unfortunately the signature cannot be read due to a tiny bit of missing paper (top layer only) right in the middle of the signature. We have been told by a miniatures collector that the painting was done by Betty Spice.  The painting is in wonderful condition without any damage and so is the frame.  The paper on the back of the painting has a little surface damage from where it appears to have hung in a dollhouse before and was taken down.  This painting measures just over 3 1/4" tall x 2 3/4" wide, the perfect size for your dollhouse.  This portrait of a young girl in 1830's period dress will make a charming addition to the wall of any dollhouse!  PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND USE THE ENLARGE AND ZOOM FEATURES FOR THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS CHARMING MINIATURE PAINTING.
