We are pleased to offer for your consideration a wonderful 1950’s Unique Art Toy Company Howdy Doody and Bob Smith Band tin wind up toy.  The toy works great and it is in great overall condition.  When wound Bob Smith, aka. Buffalo Bob, will rock side to side playing the piano while Howdy Doody jumps and dances about.  There is some very minor scattered paint loss on the toy, consisting of scuffs, small scratches and play wear, most notably at contact points such as where Bob's elbows rub against his body as he plays the piano.  The paint colors on the toy are bold, bright, and glossy.  The stop start lever functions fine and the spring in the motor is strong. The back of the piano was used to advertise other toys that were being manufactured by Unique Art at that time.  This vintage tin wind up toy Howdy Doody and Bob Smith Band measures 8” tall, 7” wide, and 6" in depth.  A Unique Art Toy Co. Howdy Doody and Bob Smith Band is a very desirable vintage toy collected by both Howdy Doody fans and tin wind up toy collectors, so don't let this one get away!  PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND USE THE ENLARGE AND ZOOM FEATURES FOR THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS TOY.
